I had received the tiles in the middle, which are about 120 years old, in order to make a surprise gift for someone. This person has seen them the last time more than 60 years ago at the fireplace in a house where he grew up.
I decided to make a tray, something useful, just as their previous "job", and chose colors of the stained glass that match and don´t take away the focus of those beautiful tiles.
The reaction was quite emotional.
